VaultCord’s Misleading Pull Speed Claims
The speed VaultCord advertises for member pulls doesn’t hold up in practice. A real VaultCord pull of 13,089 members took 6 hours and 31 minutes, or roughly 391 minutes. That’s about 33.5 members per minute, or one member every 1.79 seconds (https://archive.is/Ygycc).
VaultCord’s own website, however, claims 100 members can be pulled in 1 minute and 38 seconds, which is about 0.98 seconds per member (https://archive.is/8zKST). VaultCord’s owner, mak, gave yet another number, saying pulls average 1.2 seconds per member (https://archive.is/D8oyq). VaultCord can’t seem to agree with itself on how fast its own service is.
In another VaultCord case, a user said only 23 out of 3,180 members had been attempted an hour after starting. The VaultCord page also still said the pull would begin “in about 4 hours,” even though it was already running (https://archive.is/xcOHG).
